CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Boxing-All Levels: All levels welcome! Boxing fundamentals such as stance, basic punches/combinations, footwork, and the beginnings of defense will be taught. Outside of the fundamentals, you will get an excellent workout through drills and exercises developed to improve conditioning and muscular endurance. Beneficial not only for those looking to build a strong foundation for boxing, but for those who wish to improve in other sports and overall fitness and health. Sign up for a free boxing class!

Beginner's Boxing: For those brand new to boxing you will learn boxing fundamentals such as stance, basic punches/combinations, basic footwork, and the beginnings of defense. You will get an excellent workout through drills and exercises developed to improve conditioning and muscular endurance. Beneficial not only to those looking to build a strong foundation for boxing, but for those who wish to improve in other sports and overall fitness and health. Intermediate Boxing (coach approval required): Must have coach approval before attending Intermediate Boxing. Intermediate boxing builds on the foundation established in Beginner's Boxing, while adding more advanced footwork and intricate combination punching. This class also takes you further into defense and counter punching. The conditioning aspects become more difficult to keep challenging students.

Muay Thai-All Levels: Muay Thai is often referred to as the art of 8 limbs, because of the ability to utilize many parts of the body as weapons. Punches, kicks, knees and elbows are all used to a fighters advantage. Thai Boxing is one of the most physically demanding sports there is, so participants have to be extremely well conditioned. In our Thai program, our instructors teach basic fundamental skills to advanced fighting techniques. Along with the traditional skills and techniques, conditioning will be a major part of class. Whether you looking to try something new, get in a great workout, or are an experienced fighter looking to step up your game, our classes have what you need. Sign up for a free Muay-Thai class!

Kids Boxing (2nd-5th grade): Boys and girls are taught basic boxing skills. Basic boxing fundamentals such as stance, guard, movement, jab, cross, and hook are taught. The class has an emphasis on cardio calisthenics, shadow boxing, bag work, partner drills, pad work and core strengthening exercises. The class has been designed to provide self-defense tools as well as a greater self-confidence while keeping them physically fit. Sign up for a free kids boxing & Muay Thai class!

Teen Boxing (6th-9th grade): In addition to all other boxing classes listed on our schedule, our teen members can also participate in "Teen" class. Teen's Boxing teaches boxing fundamentals such as stance, basic punches/combinations, basic footwork, and the beginnings of defense. You will get an excellent workout through drills and exercises developed to improve conditioning and muscular endurance. Beneficial not only to those looking to build a strong foundation for boxing, but for those who wish to improve in other sports and overall fitness and health. Sign up for a free teen boxing class!

Fight Club (coach approved):Tri City's fight club membership is for those who wish to fight out of Tri-City's corner. The membership is in addition to having either a regular boxing or Muay Thai membership. Approval from Pat White is required to join.
